The Benefits of using a Face Serum

Updated: Jan 19, 2020

Are you using a face serum in your current skincare routine? If not, then you're missing out on some of the wonderful benefits a serum can add.

Keywords: concentrated, nutrient packed, and penetrating.

Face serums contains a high concentration of ingredients with little to no fillers. Due to the higher contraction of ingredients face serum deliver its said benefits faster as well as penetrating the skin on a deeper level. They're designed to target the source of a problem such as: acne, fine lines, and wrinkles or dry, combination, and oily skin.

Not only does facial serums target the problems above, but they can also:

  • create a more even skin tone

  • reduce the appearance of pores

  • reduce the appearance of broken capillaries

  • reduce the appearance of age spots

  • alleviate issues pertaining to sun damage

Managing acne with a face serum...

Acne Management was created, and formulated to regulate oleic acid. Many who suffer from acne lack an omega-6 essential fatty acid "linoleic" which regulates the oleic acid production in the skin. Our face serum is designed to create a healthy balance between the two.

I have oily skin, how can a face serum help me?

Did you know... oil can help combat oil. Oil-based face serums are lipophilic meaning it's capable of regulating and/or dissolving lipids (fats/oil) on the skin. When certain oils are used on the face, your skin sends a signal to stop producing as much oil as it previously did to maintain a balance - in short, your skin stop making as much oil as it did before. This is why those with oily skin would benefit from serums.

What about me... I have combination skin, can a face serum help?

Yes, like oily skin, an oil-based face serum can regulate the oil on your skin while moisturizing the dry areas as well.

Face serums are pretty expensive, is it worth the investment?

Yes, although face serums are expensive, there are plenty of beneficial qualities. Not only will you reap the benefits but a little goes a long way. Using about 2-4 drops per usage, on average, your face serum should last anywhere between 2-3 months. This may also cut down on other products you may use as well, which will save you even more in the long run.

Adding a face serum to your skincare routine will not only strengthen your routine but improve the overall appearance of your skin with concentrated, nutrient packed, and penetrating ingredients.

As always, to further promote beauty and wellness, we always advise you to do your own research to further your knowledge. Always conduct a patch test (a test to discover whether a person is allergic to any substance that are applied to the skin). This way you'll be much more knowledgeable, and have glowing skin!
